D3O are all about keeping riders safe, and partnering with these awesome guys really shows how much we care about pushing the limits of protection and innovation in motorcycling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both Tom and Lee are known for their seriously brave racing styles, making them the perfect choice of ambassadors for showing off D3O\u2019s latest impact protection technology. They’ll be helping D3O bring their “Give It Orange” slogan to life by using D3O advanced body armor in their race gear. Together, they’ll be showing everyone how D3O lets riders go all out while staying safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lee Johnston, a multiple time Northwest 200 and Isle of Man TT winner, will be wearing D3O protection in his RST race suit while competing in the British Superbike Championship with the Triumph Factory Racing Team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Motorcycle racing is all about pushing limits, but safety is just as crucial as speed,” Lee said. “Knowing I have D3O protection in my RST suit gives me confidence on my bike without restricting my movement.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tom Booth-Amos, also a Triumph Factory Racing rider, will be wearing D3O protection in his Furygan suit for the World Supersport Championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Racing at the highest level demands the best protection available, and D3O is leading the way. The fact that top brands like Furygan trust D3O says it all.” Tom shared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both athletes recently visited D3O HQ in Croydon, London, where they toured the laboratory, participated in a photoshoot, and even tried their hands at making new back protection. They shared their thoughts on what \u201cGive It Orange\u201d means to them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGive It Orange means getting out on our bikes, staying safe, and being protected by D3O,\u201d said Booth-Amos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Johnston added, \u201cFor me, Give It Orange is about having confidence when you push for qualifying or fully commit to a lap. Knowing you have that safety blanket with D3O makes all the difference. I don\u2019t think I\u2019d be here today without the protection I wear.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Booth-Amos also shared his thoughts on D3O\u2019s recent trademark award for the exclusive use of the colour orange in motorcycle protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou won\u2019t need to check the brand name anymore. Just look at the colour of the safety equipment inside. If it\u2019s orange, you know you\u2019re sorted,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Johnston agreed, \u201cIt\u2019s going to make life easier for people trying to purchase protective gear and might even make them feel safer as well.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
