When I was a kid, every year I made the annual pilgrimage to RunToTheSun in Newquay, Cornwall.
Back then it was a VW event and predominantly air cooled.
These days, I’m older with kids and sadly haven’t been for a good few years.
It’s Lucky for me then that a few years ago a came across Edition38, right on my doorstep.
Edition has been running for 15 years now and in simple terms is a show run by dubbers, for dubbers.
It began 15 years ago when a group of friends set up a small show, little more than a big meet.
It takes a small army to make the show happen and what a great show it is.
Blacktopmedia have attended for the last 3 years and fully intend to continue attending for years to come.
Edition38 grows from strength to strength each year with bigger and better attendance, cars and atmosphere. There’s a huge camping area and I can’t begin tell you how cool the vibe is in there. BBQ’s, beers, cars and friends all combine to create a fantastic environment.
There’s a music tent, trade stands, club displays and so much more.
If you are looking for variety, the mix of cars is crazy, from rat look to low riders to world class show cars and everything in between.
More than anything, what makes Edition38 for me is the relaxed vibe.
Turn up, park up and soak up the awesome cars with likeminded people, no hassle, and no pretension.
If you can’t wait, there’s an Early Edition on Sunday 24th April.
Here’s some campsite antics……
